Workers’ Comp Alert
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) Bureau of Compliance is warning individuals needing to file exemptions to be aware of solicitations from a private company offering exemption filing services. The service is not free and is not considered the official application package. Payments made to entities other than the Division of Workers Comp do not take the place of the required fees. The solicitation directs you to a website that is not the Florida Division of Workers’ Comp, the only authority responsible for processing and approving exemption applications. The DWC mails renewal information and an application approximately 75 days before the expiration date of the existing exemption. If you have questions, visit them at www.myfloridacfo.com/wc/ or call 800-742-2214

We do roof cleaning, and work closely with roofing contractors in our area to be sure our clients have roof inspections performed. Often times our roof cleaning customers ask us to inspect their roof, but we are just roof cleaners, not qualified to inspect roofs.
